The day is finally here! I have officially published my 8th book! For some reason, this book took me longer than any other book I have ever written.
I was suffering publishing fatigue. Writing was still a pleasure for me, and I loved this story very much! The problem was that I felt overwhelmed by just the THOUGHT of configuring the book cover and layout, and then having to upload it, come up with a description, and all of the “fun” stuff that comes AFTER the FUN stuff (writing the story).
To top it all off, I was also knee deep in editing my YouTube podcast videos, developing a website, moving my office location, and participating in life in general. Publishing just seemed like another daunting task.
But then!! My precious grandson asked me when I was going to have my book done and I found a new source of motivation and determination! I had started this story because my grandsons who are advanced readers, were not getting their hands on much “appropriate” reading material for their age.
I wanted to write a book for my grandchildren (I have 9) because I wanted to leave them a story that Grammy had written with THEM in mind.
The day is finally here! I ordered 10…yes TEN…copies of this book. 6 to give out to grandchildren, 1 for my editor (she always gets a copy) and 3 to sit in my personal book shelf.
I would invite you to grab a copy of “A Squirrel Peed on Me” by clicking HERE.
